When are citrus fruits available?
The months shown are a practical guide: the citrus season follows nature, not a fixed calendar. Whether a fruit arrives earlier or later depends on rainfall, temperatures, fruit size, internal ripeness and the quantity actually suitable for shipping.

How to read it
The right month does not just mean “available”; it means “ready to ship well”.
A citrus fruit may already be on the tree but still not be ideal for shipping. Sicilia Agrumi focuses on the right harvesting time and careful selection: it is better to wait a few extra days than to send a fruit that looks beautiful outside but is not ready inside. The calendar should therefore be used as a guide, not as a rigid promise.
Simple rule
October and November bring the first blonde oranges. From December to March, red oranges dominate. Late varieties arrive in spring. In summer, Valencia and Verdello remain available when the harvest allows it.

Is it better to buy one variety or build a mixed box?
If you already know what you like, choose a single-variety box, for example only Tarocco, Moro or Navel. If you want to try several products in the same order, a mixed box is more practical: you can combine citrus fruits, lemons, seasonal fruit and typical products while reducing the chance of getting tired of a single variety.
