– 6 artichokes
– 1½ cups fine, dry bread crumbs
– 1½ tablespoons grated parmesan or pecorino romano cheese
– 1 clove of garlic, minced
– 1 bunch finely chopped parsley
– ½ cup olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste

Wash the artichokes by dipping them up and down in cold water. Cut off the stem end and also cut a couple of inches off the top of each artichoke. Remove any loose lower leaves. Using scissors, cut off a quarter of each outer leaf. Second

Place the stuffed artichokes in a large pot with about 7 to 8 inches of water. Pour the olive oil evenly over the artichokes. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 30 to 40 minutes. Fourth
Using a skimmer, transfer the artichokes to a baking sheet where you have placed baking paper. The oven should already be preheated to 180 degrees. leave the artichokes for 5 to 10 minutes maximum so that they turn golden brown on the surface. Fifth
