Taccole therefore are a vegetable and part of the Leguminosae families. What are Taccole or Saucers
Taccole by many people are confused as the pods of peas that should not be eaten. Actually they are yes similar however different from pea pods, their shape in fact appears wide and flat and they are about 10 centimeters long. These unlike pea pods can be eaten whole, so you will be able to eat, the pod and also the seeds contained in it. Obviously before eating this legume you should cook it.
Piattoni have very similar characteristics to Taccole but differ slightly in shape, which is precisely why these legumes are often confused by most people.

Jackdaws in tomato sauce
Tomato jack daws are a very easy recipe to prepare but above all very tasty. The first thing you will have to do is to cut off the ends of the jackdaws because those are not eatable. Meanwhile, wash the jackdaws as well. After you have done this all you have to do is cook them in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. In another frying pan put in cherry tomatoes cut in half, garlic, oil and a pinch of salt for about 5 minutes.
After you have done this you will have to add the jackdaws to the cherry tomatoes and you can enjoy a really tasty dish that is very quick to prepare.
Stewed jackdaws
Another very tasty dish that can be prepared in a short time is taccole or stewed piattoni. Let’s see how to cook them. Again you will first have to cut off the ends and place them under water. In another pot put the chopped onion, water and extra virgin oil and stew everything. After doing this you should add the tomato pulp, garlic, salt and pepper, and last the green beans with a small cup of water. Place a lid on top and cook them for about 50 minutes. If you notice a reduction in water, add more. You will know they are cooked when they are soft. Enjoy!
